Twelve eager hikers abandoned the Christmas hulabaloo to spend a day in nature and on the beach. The forecast of light drizzle did catch up with us during the last part of the hike, but by that time we were well sheltered by the high tree canopy. The deep forest of Tahkenitch State Park takes on a mystical and magical quality at this time of year, thus rejuvenating all for a return to the 'real world'.Members: Becky Lipton, Don Cross, Brian Popowsky, Holger Krentz, Janet Jacobsen, Brian Murray, Mari Baldwin, Sarah Praskievicz, Jim Woodard, Pat Soussan, Randy Sinnott, Jorry Rolfe.
