We started the 4 ½ mile loop hike at the Masonic Cemetery winding our way up to 27th Agate, past the golf course, and then turning south on Central to hook up with the Ridgeline neighborhood connector trail to the lodge, where we took a short break. Back on the Ribbon Trail, we hiked to Hendricks Park and then on city streets back to our cars. It was the first time for most of the hikers to visit the Masonic Cemetery and become acquainted with important “Eugeneans” including Eugene Skinner and the Hendricks family. The hike took 3 hours. Two hikers continued walking to 13th and Alder for the dedication of the blue heron sculpture, part of Eugene's 150th birthday celebration.Members: Janet Jacobsen, Roberta Chord, Autumn Estes, Julie Dorland, Beth Roy, Susan Sanazaro.
