In the morning, the reflections resembled a Monet painting -- rich in color and peaceful. But on the return, we saw scintillating diamonds dancing across the water! Lots of bird sounds: yellow warblers, Canada geese, ducks, several osprey, including one eating breakfast, a great blue heron, and 5 white pelicans were among the sightings. Some of the boats were long, sleek kayaks; others were shorter and squatter; and one lone tandem canoe. The weather and the company couldn't have been better. Thanks to the folks for sharing a spectacular morning.Members: Lindstrom, Lana, Nelson, Nola, Esch, Patricia, Mac Afee, Patricia, Chord, Roberta, Miller, Sam, Whitfield, Jim, Emlen, Clara.
