Potato Hill

Sunday, February 27, 2011
Leader: Scott Hovis
SShoe: 5 miles, 600 ft (Difficult)

Plenty of snow but the visibility was poor so we elected not 2 go 2 the top of Potato Hill. The snow was deep enough that we took turns breaking trail. Solitude is good here. Most folks over look this area, probably because Hoodoo & Ray Benson are so close. Carry chains . . . the road CAM on line may show the roads as good but things can change quickly. The blue diamonds on this trail are poor at times . . . you'll need to carefully look for them at times . . . especially in the middle of the loop.
