Waldo Lake Road

Leader: Lana Lindstrom
Combo: 6 miles, 500 ft (Moderate)

What a spectacular day! Stately Doug firs draped in snow watched us from on high; lower gnomes, rabbits, sea horses, and other critters entertained us. And the foot or so new snow was velvety. Plus we lucked out since a vehicle had packed down the snow - we couldn't quite figure out what kind of vehicle it was, finally deciding that it was a snow cat pulling a trailer. We only met two other people on the trail - wow! Note: don't do this trip on a weekend unless you are willing to share the road with snowmobiles. Special thanks to Bill and Jim for driving. Joining me in an absolutely perfect day were:
