The closing of the Jefferson Wilderness, just prior to the scheduled hike to Duffy, had me scrambling to find a quick solution. I selected Rosay Lake farther south, but was still concerned about smoke and possible fire danger in that area. The result was a beautiful bluebird day with basically no mosquitos, and a good canopy of trees to keep us comfortable. The lakes were gorgeous and were active with fish jumping and ducks with ducklings. The trail was in perfect condition. We had a relaxing lunch at the edge of Middle Rosary Lake.Members: Terry, Judy, Strahon, Guy, Gunther, Barbara, Kanagy, Ruthy, Soussan, Pat, Sutterfield, June, Nelson, Lucy.
