An hour before the 6:45 sunset, we took the longer way to the summit using trails 7, 3,4, and 1. It was a pleasant evening to enjoy the sunset reds, eat our yellow pears from Me and Moore and wait 25 minutes for the moon to appear above the foothills. The spectacular bright red harvest moon was greeted with cheers and clapping. We were back at the cars around 8:00.Members: Janet Jacobsen, Marianne Camp, Rick Ahrens, David Lodeesen, Vicky Hanson. Nonmembers: Deanne Lahaie-Noll.
