Cascade Raptor Center

Thursday, March 30, 2017
Leader: Carla Cooper
Hike: 2.4 miles, 450 ft (Easy)

Ten of us left from the Martin Street trailhead and headed up to Fox Hollow at a leisurely pace, enjoying the trilliums in bloom and the song of the winter wrens along the way. We arrived at the Cascade Raptor Center just after opening, in time to see a few of the birds being fed and a presentation about one of the falcons. Half of today's participants had not been to the Raptor Center before, so this was a good opportunity for them to visit this fascinating center.

Members: Carla Cooper, David Cooper, Caralynn Judy, Brad Bennett, Tom Rundle, Nancy Hoecker. Nonmembers: Henry Judy, Lauren Judy, Sally Bennett, Michael Bredfield.
