We had an uneventful trip with 7 hikers. We encountered snow drifts in two places, but they were not much of a problem; most of us had trekking poles. We reached the uppermost ridge and 6 of the 7 summited. Vegetation growth in the upper meadows was in a very early stage, needed 2 - 3 weeks (IMHO) to bloom. The trail is in good shape with the exception of perhaps 6 - 8 deadfalls across the trail. However it is passable without much trouble.Members: Tom Giesen, Brian Hamilton, Kate Parrish, Dick Hildreth, Chris Stockdale, Darko Sojak. Nonmembers: Amy Cook.
