First stop was the Masonic Cemetery, where we were greeted with amazing wildflowers (especially trillium),and famous historical names like Hendricks and Skinner, We followed back streets, entered Laurelwood Golf Course and then a surprise trail to Central and the Ribbon Trail. Along the way Rick Ahrens identified birds and at Oak Knoll in Hendricks Park, he pointed out a patch of Camas Lily. With dark clouds mounting, we increased the pace back to our cars. Our tech hikers shared their stats. May’s Nike Fuel Band revealed 13,000 plus steps and Julie’s phone app mapped 6.3 miles, 719 ft. elevation. The hike took 3 hours.Members: Jacobsen, Janet, Dorland, Julie, Chord, Roberta, Estes, Chyanne, Estes, Trenton, Krentz, Holger, Fogg, May, Gontrum, Maggie, Hassman, Carl, Ahrens, Rick.
