Blacklock Point

Friday–Sunday, May 3–5, 2013
Leader: Scott Hovis
Bk Pk: 4.1 miles, 200 ft (Moderate)

Heavy equipment was trimming the trail when we arrived. Look out for large chunks of wood. The beaches were very windy. Trees provided a nice wind block. Warm weather brought out a few flies. All creeks were running with water but most ran underground once they reached the beach. Be sure to look at your tide table before hiking next to the cliffs. The coast line is fairly plastic free.
