Iron Mountain

June 30, 2010

Iron Mountain is a real treat to hike during this time of the year. The weather was pleasant, sunny with a cool temperature, allowing for a comfortable outdoor experience. We were treated to fields of wildflowers as well as a spectacular view of the surrounding snow covered mountains. This was my first time up to enjoy the new deck that was built last year. What a perfect lunch spot to rest up and enjoy the views. I felt so fortunate to share a wonderful day with such a great group of hikers.

Hikers were members Dan Bates, Bill Buskirk, Marianne Camp (leader) and Lamonte Smith; and nonmembers Kay Cosby and Love Opincar.
