Briggs Hill/Hinman Winery

October 18, 2008

Our “sunshiny” day started out “drizzle/drip” from fog with possible showers in the morning. Rats! In spite of this, ten diehards showed up at Amazon and off we went. Those with glasses needed windshield wipers going down Lorane on the backside; but, fortunately, about a half hour later the fog lifted and the rest of the day was high clouds and cool (not cold) temps. We ate lunch on the patio at Hinman and were joined by Jim Robertson, who works at Hinman and whose completed Obsidian membership application is sitting on his desk. I want to thank all those who chose to brave the nasty weather and have a great ride with me. They were: Nonmember, Pat Gripp and Members: Stewart Hoeg, Barb Bruns, Paul Garrick, Joyce Sanders, Kurt Koivu, George Jobanek, Darrell McBee and Walt Davis. Also my sincere thanks to George for taking “Point”. Leader (Ha!!): Sharon Ritchie.
