Square Lake via Jack MeadowsJanuary 14, 2007Six of us left Santiam snow park at 10:00. We skied to to the highest point in Jack meadows where we ate lunch. We ate quickly because the wind was quite brisk. Once we started skiing down we warmed up, the snow was fantastic just like Utah. We descended 900 ft. into Square Lake basin then climbed 500 ft. to the ridge close to the spot where we started the decent. From here we skied South to P.C.T. trail head then back to the cars. Skiers were George Baitinger, Wayne Deeter, Rich Peevers, Mark Slipp (leader), Harold Thompson and Charlie Van Deusen.
