Brice Creek

July 1, 2007

A lovely sunny day, an easy 40 mile drive to the trailhead, with a short detour around a bridge repair. The trail, while a bit rough underfoot, is in good condition, and the optional short side trail to the base of Trestle Creek Falls is in the best condition that I have seen. Brice Creek is running low, but the water is clear and affords wonderful views of the rocks.

This pleasant trail offers the beauty of the creek, with a forest of old growth, ferns, salal, and a touch of poison oak at the start of the walk

Hikers were members: Anne Bonine, Lynda Christiansen (leader), Jim Fritz, Janet Jacobsen and Barb Revere and nonmember Carol Stout.
