Abernethy Road

When we arrived at the Gold Lake snow park it was overcast, but not too cold. We had broken trail to the shelter about two miles out. After that we alternated trail breaking till we got out to a small lake somewhere around five miles out. We went down to the lake for lunch. After lunch we headed back to the trailhead. The snowfest that happens once a year was going on that day but none of the skiers wanted to stay. It was a good day to do a long ski.
