Sand Mountain Traverse

The Sand Mountain/Little Nash ski loop offers something for everyone. There’s flat terrain, moderate up hill, and long stretches of gradual downhill. During our nine-mile trip we encountered excellent snow conditions and several divisions of snowmobiles. As Obsidians we practiced peaceful co-existence and smiled at our fellow travelers through the din and haze of their engines. Our group for this outing consisted of Dave Jensen, Dave Predeek, John Hegg, Tom Peterson, Brenda Kameenui, Lyndell Wilken, and Sam Miller (leader).
