Willamette Valley WetlandsApril 2, 2006We met at the Gilbert Shopping Center in the drizzly rain which lasted most of the day. Our first stop was William Finley Refuge where we looked at waterfowl. Next we went to the Jackson-Frazier Wetlands just north of Corvallis. They have a nice boardwalk and interpretive signs and we saw some interesting birds there. Our final stop was the E.E. Wilson Wildlife Area just off Hwy. 99. Took a loop trail to learn about the history as a WW II training base and see the wildlife.
