Three Creek LakeApril 18, 2004Our hardy group walked most of the first couple of miles with skis on our heads as we hoped for steady snow on the trail to materialize. It did, and was amazingly fresh, wonderful spring snow, some of which fell as we climbed, alternating with beautiful sunshine. We made a snack stay at Jeff View Shelter (no view!) and then on up to the lake, where there were intermittent views of Tam McArthur Rim and surrounding mountains. A nice glide down — until we hit the dirt again. A tired but satisfied crew consisted of Obsidians Tyler Burgess, Carol Faller, Bob Huntley and Chris Stockdale, non-member Lome Curran and trip leader Anne Dhu McLucas.
