Robinson Lake Road

A party of three left Springfield about 8:20 a.m. for Robinson Lake Road. When we arrived we were barely able to parallel park of the main highway. Left the car about 10:20 a.m. The weather was cooperating and we reached the Robinson Lake trailhead at about 12:00. We attempted to find the lake for about 15 minutes, and finally turned back to a sunny spot near the trailhead. Had a snack and enjoyed the sun for a while and then started back down the road for the car. Arrived back at the car about 2:00 p.m. There were some areas we had to walk because of no snow each way, but they were not long. Traveled back to Springfield and home. Participants were Laurie Funkhouser, Mark Slipp and leader Bill Johnson, all members.
