Ikenick, Mountain View LoopFebruary 7, 2004Arrived at the snow park to find an empty parking lot. Started out for the trail in partly sunny weather. Went north through meadows that had replanted trees, and across the bridge over the creek. We played on the meadow north of the creek and also on the hill on the road beyond. No new track was showing, so we made our own trail. Stopped for a break after crossing the second bridge. When we reached the road to go back south we tried the trail west of the road. We finally had to get back on the road due to many blowdown trees, and open water ways on the trail. Skied the road to the south till we got to the road back to the snow park lot. Snowed on us some and got some sun at times; no good views of the mountains though. Obsidians Tom Woxell, Laurie Funkhouser, and leader Bill Johnson enjoyed the day. |
