Willamette Pass Downhill Ski DayFebruary 5, 2004If you didn’t make this one, you truly missed out On a great day! Originally planned as a “take the bus up” trip, due to the few sign-ups, Doug offered to drive, saving us $7.00 each. The trails were groomed, except the black diamonds, which we weren’t inclined to use anyway. The weather was good, and the company fun. We left the Albertson’s parking lot at Hilyard and 30th at 9:00 a.m., and were at the lodge by 10:15. Skied until closing at four, with an easy drive back. Participants were Obsidians Doug McCarty, Rick Ahrens, and leader Peggy Lee Mathes. P.S. Doug is looking for riders for mid-week skiing. Give him a call if interested. |
