Fawn LakeJanuary 31, 2004Diamond Peak sparkled in the morning sun as we passed by on our way to Crescent Lake Sno-Park. There was 5" of new snow at the trailhead, and more as we ascended. There were several comments on the high quality of the snow. There was a little breeze coming off the lake and it had clouded over by then, so we didn’t linger over lunch. In spite of a few spills, we very much enjoyed the long glide back down. It began to snow as we reached the cars. Non-members were Roger Galkin, Satnam Khalsa, and Dale Schupen. Members were Anne Bonine, John Hegg, Dick Hildreth, Anne McLucas, Lyndell Wilkes, Sue Wolling, Tom Woxell, and Bob Huntley, leader. |
