Pretty Lake

January 18, 2004

Eight of us left Crescent Lake Snow Park and headed for Pretty Lake. The temperature was 34° and the skies were overcast. The snow was firm and fast, but not icy. It was a lot like spring conditions.

We skied the four miles to Pretty Lake in about three hours, and then had a nice lunch at the lake. It was a bit cold and windy, so we didn’t stay long.

We had a great descent back to the cars, and arrived back by 4:00 p.m. Skiers were: George Baitinger, Tyler Burgess, Bob Burnett, John Cooper, Laurie Funkhouser, John Hegg, Larry Huff, and Mark Slipp (leader).
