Canyon Creek Meadows
July 17, 2004
Ten of us made it into two cars for the long drive to the Jack Lake
parking lot, which was already full!
The day started out cloudy, but soon turned sunny as we headed for the
flower-filled meadows below Three Fingered Jack.
The trail had not been affected much by last year’s forest fire,
though there was ample evidence of it.
There was a fair amount of snow at the higher reaches, but eight of us
made it to the high ridge with breathtaking views.
