Mt. Pisgah x 2

The hike began at the west (main) parking lot. The group of five hiked the newer trail heading north then looping back to join the main trail and on to the top. We paused briefly on top before backtracking slightly to the junction of the trail to the east parking lot. The trail on the back side is very pleasant. The top is shaded by trees until it breaks out into a meadow of grasses and wildflowers. The group decided to dine on top so we began our return ascent. On the way we met a volunteer cutting and marking invading grasses that might take over if not controlled. After lunching on top we headed home.

Hikers were Douglas Hintzman, Connie Johnston, Diane Kurz, Carol Martin and Janet Hall, leader.
