Zola Ehlers Miller,
and Pete Peterson
for an early summer hike on Rosary Lakes trail.
Several well-equipped campsites dotted the lower lake shore, but the
remainder of the trail was vacant, and relatively peaceful-with the
exception of hungry mosquitoes.
We stopped briefly to admire each of the three lakes and then returned
to the middle lake, where we enjoyed lunch and unobscured views of
shoreline framed with Douglas fir, hemlock and tiny pink wildflowers.
