Is it a first for the leader to be the only Obsidian in a group of eight hikers? Guess it’s time to choose a new location. Seven prospective Obsidians said they had a great time in beautiful 70s weather on a well groomed trail. The only negative was the mosquitoes almost as large as the osprey that swooped down to grab a fish from the second lake. Hikers were Lynn Casper, Marg Hogan, Barbara Morgan, Barb Revere, Toni Revere, Carla Rusow, Simon Thompson and Joella Ewing, leader.
