East Fork McKenzieMay 8, 2004Three hardy souls arrived promptly at SEHS parking lot at 8:00 a.m. and had a scenic rainy drive along the McKenzie River to Cougar Reservoir. At that point we proceeded to hike three and one half miles up stream observing the flora and fauna of the beautiful rain forest. We then stopped, had lunch, and returned to the car. Due to rainy conditions the beauty of the scenery was at its finest and was enjoyed by all the hikers, Margot Fetz, Rod Wood and Walt Dolliver, leader. |
