Yachats to Waldport

Another amazing and beautiful stroll on the Oregon Coast with heavy-duty rain and wind as we gathered at the Adobe in Yachats, but from then on, only the wind on our backs and the magnificent sandy beach at a -2 foot tide. Some of the ancient bog and trees were exposed one mile north of Starr Creek. Sun, blue sky, great cloud formations and surf, busy sandpipers in big flocks and a very easy-going enjoyable group of people, who were so willing to help collecting fees (Max) and run the shuttle (Sheila). Thanks from the so called “leader” Birgitte, who was happy to share tea and crumpets at her home after this pleasant day on the Oregon Coast.

Hikers were Max Brown, Joella Ewing, Yuan Hopkins, Doris & Bob Jones, Marshall Kandell, Barbara Schomaker, Michelle Tambellini, Sheila Ward and Birgitte Williams, leader.
