Fern Ridge Bike Path to Orchard Point

It was a beautiful sunny day, perfect for this 26-mile bike ride. We rode the Fern Ridge Bike path from the Fairgrounds to Greenhill Road, stopping along the way to admire the birds. From there we rode mostly backroads, including Fir Butte Rd. where the resident bison and llamas were also enjoying the warm, sunny day. We ate lunch/socialized at Orchard Pt. Park & then a leisurely ride back. Great day & companions for the first Spring ride! Riders were Rob Castleberry, Larry Dunlap, Ron Shaffer, Joyce Thomas and leader Joan Bradley.
