Mt. Pisgah Sunrise/Moonset

Sunrise comes early. It was still dark even with the help of the full moon showing through the clouds as we left for Mt Pisgah’s south trailhead. As we started up with just enough light to see the trail we greeted several, even earlier-risers, coming down. The moon teased us with a few glimpses seen only as we were going up toward the red glow. On top we welcomed the sun and turned against a rather cold breeze. The following made it to the summit (in alphabetical order): Michael Bullington, Jim Duncan, Sharon Duncan, Sandra Larsen, Anne McLucas, Royal Murdock (leader), Margaret Prentice, and Nola Shurtleff.
