Odell View Point

December 20, 2003

The snow was not ideal but good. The sun was out and so allowed views of Odell Lake and Diamond Peak. It warmed up enough to melt snow in the trees. At times it seemed like it was raining! I posted the trip for beginners, but felt it is more of an “advanced beginner” trip. A couple of people were very tired. Many people were not parking “head in” at the Snow Park lot. During heavy use this could be a problem.

Snowshoers were Barb Bruns, Daniele Delaby, Walt Dolliver, Charles Durham, Larry Huff, Andy Jobanek, George Jobanek, Marshall Kandell, Michelle Tambellini, Sheila Ward, and J. Scott Hovis, leader.
