Despite the conflicting reports of anywhere from none to 60%
chance of rain, the 16th turned out to be a beautiful warm day.
We met at the Park-and Ride at 29th and Amazon Parkway at 9:30
and were on the trail by 11:15.
Two good breaks and four hours later we were viewing Diamond Peak
from 3,682 ft. Heckletooth.
The final mile of trail was steep, but offered no hindrance to our group.
The return trip to the car took only an hour, because the loop
was mostly completed.
The three of us journeyed down memory Lane as we named every favorite
TV show from the 50’s and 60’s we could remember.
Enjoying a most satisfying day were Obsidian member
and (hopefully) soon to be member
