The weather cooperated with cool temperatures.
We left Eugene soon after 8 a.m. with no construction stops on Hwy. 58.
This hike with three waterfalls, ripe huckleberries and a compatible
group of hikers couldn’t have been better.
There are several junctions on this hike so it can be confusing.
After reaching Vivian Lake for lunch some people had a swim and one
hiker walked the trail on each side of the lake.
We returned to Salt Creek falls via a loop trail.
The 11 happy hikers were:
and Tom Woxell.
Co-leaders Sandra Larsen and Leona Devine.
