hiked up the main trail to the top of Mt. Pisgah, took a quick look
at the view and refreshed ourselves with water before beginning the
descent around the north, then to the east side of the mountain.
The trail provided glorious views of the valley through the trees
before opening up in the meadow prior to the east parking lot.

As we approached the river we hiked through a canopy of trees and were
rewarded by a host of birds celebrating this magnificent day filled
with good company, lively chatter and the glories of nature.
