The weather report snow at 2500 feet, Rooster Rock is 3800 feet,
yet four brave souls showed up.
Dan Bates graciously offered to take us in his van (thanks, Dan).
Five apprehensive hikers left under threatening skies.
Much to our relief little rain while hiking, but we saw snow and rain.
Top of Rooster rock was clouded in,
skillfully, the leader parted the clouds for brief view.
Rained on drive home, overall good day.
Brave souls were Dan Bates, Chris Stockdale, Mark Slipp, Lynda Christansen,
and leader Mel Zavodsky.
