Mt. Pisgah

On a mild and sunny May Day, we hiked along flat trails by the river from the west side of Mt. Pisgah to the less traveled south side. It was muddy, but we were rewarded with the sights of wildflowers and luminous poison oak. We walked up the summit from the south side, enjoyed lunch, and came back down on a small trail across the west face of the mountain. Hikers were Max Brown, Chris Cunningham, Yuan Hopkins, Marshall Kandell, Joanne Ledet, Helen Liguori, Mavis Mate, Pete Peterson, Sharon Ritchie, Barbara Sutherland and Jon Tressler, leader.
