Coffin Mountain

Out of the 14 originally signed up for our trip to Coffin Mountain on Sunday, Feb. 10, seven appeared — all but one a member. Sam Miller, Bill McWhorter, Dick Hildreth, Harold Thompson, Fred Felter, Bob Lemon, and leader Anne McLucas all enjoyed a sunny day, a long trip with magnificent views of Mt. Jefferson (and for the hardy four who made it-to the very top, a 360-degree view of the Sisters, Jack, and Jefferson as well as a long snowfield ski down.) All glided to a successful conclusion of the 12-mile trip.
