Febuary 3, 2002
It was a great day for skiing with sunny skies, a few inches of new snow and great people.
To our surprise most of the blue diamonds have been removed from the wilderness area and this
trail in particular, without markers, we had an unsuccessful lake finding trip, and at 2:00
decided to head downward.
The glide out was great and we had a good time in spite of missing the lake.
Being sure I could find the lake another time, Janet Hall and I skied the Fawn Lake trail
the next weekend. Janet was surprised I hadn't found it last week and assured me she could.
We had a great day of skiing, got very tired and decided someone has moved Fawn Lake!
Next year the trip will be called Fawn Lake Trail.
Skiers were Marriner Orum, Norma Lockyear, Clare Tucker, Sharon Ritchie,
and Diane Jeffcott - leader.
