Rosary Lakes

The new powder snow was ideal and all ten of us skied like champions. In spite of 7 inches of new snow we didn’t have to break trail. There were a couple of trees down on the trail which we managed to go over or under. It snowed most of the way to the first lake. After a quick lunch some of the group started back down the trail and a larger group kept going toward the second lake to warm up. We all met at the Willamette Pass Lodge for hot drinks and conversation. The ten skiers who enjoyed a great ski were: Anne Bonine, Chris Christensen, Fred Felter, Bob Huntley, Marcia Karnesky, Sharon Ritchie, Clare Tucker, Charlie Van Deusen, Max Vollmer and Sandra Larsen — leader.
