November 17, 2002
It was overcast and foggy when we left Eugene.
By the time we got to Dean Creek Elk Reserve for a pit stop it was cool and sunny.
The Elk were present, spread out over the meadows.
For many in this group it was a first time experience
on Eel Creek, hiking in shirt sleeve weather under clear skies.
It was a beautiful day.
The trip home included a stop at Mo’s for soup for some of us.
Hikers were Donna Bruyere, Charles Chase, Lyn Dahlstrom, Kitson and Peter Graham,
Barbara Schomaker, Bill Simington, Barbara Sutherland, Michelle Tambellini,
Margaret Wikerfeld, and Jane Hackett, leader.
