Threemile Lake

November 7, 2002

On a day when it was supposed to have 60 mile an hour winds and heavy rains on the coast, two of us went anyway. As it turned out, we had a great day for hiking the coast. It was overcast, breezy and the tide was high. The temperature was balmy. No 60 mile an hour winds. The rain didn’t start until we were in the car headed home. It was just about perfect for hiking on a stormy day on the Oregon Coast. Hikers were Bill Simington and Jane Hackett, leader.
