Green rolling fields, wild flowers, horses with colts, rushing streams, covered bridges and just enough hill climbing to make a sensational two mile downhill run all combined for an exhilarating bicycle ride. Sunday May 19 with rain predicted saw our group of 9 riders with raingear stowed in our packs start the 47 mile route in Scio. Three covered bridges later we had lunch at Larwood Bridge Park. On through Crabtree with only a few rain drops we visited two more covered bridges on our way back to Scio for brownies as our return reward. Riders included members Gayle Berge, Richard Hughes, Lana Lindstrom, Kitson Graham, Peter Graham, and leader Norma Lockyear. Non-members included Bob McConnell, Karen Prater and Rex Prater.
