Mt. Baldy

Twelve hikers really enjoyed our Wednesday hike from Amazon Community Center to Mt. Baldy and back. It was a good Oregon day — rain, mud, showers — but no one seemed to mind. The view from the top of Mt. Baldy was lovely and the sun shone. We enjoyed a great week-day hike and we enjoyed just walking — no transportation costs were involved. Obsidian members who went were leader Ruth Romoser, Joe Neal, Marilyn Kerins, Dave Becker, Max Brown, Sally Quigley, Andy Brtis, Mari Balchins, and Sig Otto. Non-members who also went were Bob Dallas, Gerry Galbo, and Georg Jaschek.
