What a winter this has been! The day before the trip, it’s
“Will it be old and icy?”, “Will it snow tonight?”,
“Will it rain tomorrow?”.
Decisions, decisions. Well, we went in spite of not knowing hardly any answers
to any of these questions. Good thing we did. The snow was not new, but good,
and best of all: no ice! The little bit of rain we had was more like a
short-lived mist. All in all, it was a good day and a good group. My thanks to members George Baitinger, Sandra Larsen, Helen Liguori and Clare Tucker for joining and assisting me, and to non-members Dana Ferguson and Charlie Van
Deusen for coming in spite of a miserable forecast. Never a leader, Sharon Ritchie.
