Rosary LakesJanuary 20, 2001Only four people turned up for what turned out to be a fine ski day. While there was only thin layer of new snow, the trail was quick but rarely icy. The day was mild with occasional sun breaking through the high overcast. We lunched at the first lake, then proceeded up to the next two. We circled Upper Rosary and Middle on the way back and then glided out … or everyone but the leader glided out, he trailed and tumbled a bit! Enjoying the fine day were father and daughter Steven & Tamara Johnson, Norwegian visitor Geir Smedslund (who is looking for tougher challenges) and leader Ed Lichtenstein. |
