Maxwell Butte

Our group of eight companionable hikers set out on an overcast day to hike Maxwell butte. Rain threatened, but never came, and we were greeted with an array of flowers and nice views. Although a full view of Three Fingered Jack was obscured by clouds, there were other vistas and we enjoyed lunch at the top. Hikers were Pat Huntley, Jim Whitfield, Jim Clarkson, Judy Terry, Peter Herring, Fred Fellor, Linda Cheney and Anne McLucas (leader).
