Eight eager climbers met at the Obsidian Trailhead at 11:00 on a warm, sunny
A steady pace got us to Arrowhead Lake around 3:00 p.m. with plenty of time to
set up camp and enjoy the early evening.
Sunday morning was full of stars and we left camp at dawn, around 5:45.
We climbed via Renfrew Glacier with the least amount of snow on the lower mountain
I’ve seen in years.
At 9:30 we summited, in three hours and thirty-five minutes — the fastest
group I’ve led up Middle Sister.
