Snow Creek

Snow Creek, in the Three Creek Lake area near Sisters, is a great X-C ski trail if it isn’t icy. Fortunately for us, several inches of fresh snow covered over an icy base and gave us a good ski surface. We had odd weather though; Sun, mostly overcast and snow all simultaneously. Our lean and mean foursome (Sally Grosscup, Julie Alberts, Bobby Cummins and leader Bill Montgomery) covered the 12 or so miles in about four hours. With icy conditions we probably would have done it in three!
